1970s Art Deco Dancer Novelty Print Set

This museum-worthy set was designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chloé. It was purchased in the early 1970s at the high-end Italian boutique, Gerardo Danieli. Made in France of thin navy blue cotton, it has an Art Deco floral print with five different sets of dancers throughout. The set consists of a long sleeve button-up blouse and a pleated skirt that falls just below the knee. There are 6.5" slits on each side of the blouse, it does up with seven buttons, and has an additional two buttons on each cuff. The skirt is high-waisted and does up the left side with a metal YKK zipper. Both pieces are in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned, and ready to wear.
