This 1989 S/S Chanel Boutique by Karl Lagerfeld skirt suit was made in France of white cotton. The same one was photographed by Wayne Maser for the May 1989 issue of Vogue US. It has a silk lining with the CC logo throughout and gold-tone metal CC buttons that are signed "CHANEL" on the back.
The jacket has four buttoned front pockets. It fastens with ten buttons in the front, three button at each cuff and three buttons at the back vent. The high-waisted pencil skirt fastens at the back with a zipper and hook-and-eyes at the waistband. The back vent has four buttons. The care tags are faded and the gold-plating is starting to chip on the back of a few of the buttons. It's otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
