1971 Documented Mod Black Wool & Leather Skirt

The white version of this Céline A-line skirt was featured in a 1971 issue of L’Officiel Paris. It was made in France of a lined black wool with a genuine leather waistband. It does up in a wrap style with a gold-tone metal twist lock on the waistband.
The leather is slightly stiff and has a small nick on the front right side. There are also indents in the leather from being improperly hung. The waistband was altered at some point. Please zoom in on the photos for a complete understanding of the condition. The skirt still presents beautifully, and is both wearable and collectible.
