Catherine Buckley
1970s Antique Jacquard Lace Tiered Ruffle Two-Piece Pinafore Set
Sold Out
This Catherine Buckley cream floral blouse and pinafore tiered ruffle dress set was made in England in the 1970s. It is unlabeled but instantly recognizable to her devotees as part of her "FRAGILE" collection, where she used antique jacquard lace dating from 1905-1935. Both pieces are lined in silk and zip up the back with a metal zipper. The blouse features sheer sleeves, ruffle cuffs, and a ruffle collar. The lace on the pinafore maxi dress is stressed in a couple of areas and has a few age marks, but nothing that distracts from its beauty.
Please note that this set is incredibly petite. The rib cage was much too small for our mannequin. It could fit an XXS (with a 30" bust and 23.5" waist) if you have the straps removed.
