1980s Black Velvet & Taffeta Ruffle Cocktail Dress

This 1980s Carven cocktail dress was made in France of black velvet with a taffeta ruffle skirt and a black satin lining. The strapless bustier top has a rope trim neckline, and there are three rosettes on the left hip. It fastens with a zipper on the right side. There is some wear to the rosettes but it's otherwise in very good condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
