1989 Baroque Print Silk Jacquard Vest & Trouser Set

This 1989 Callaghan by Romeo Gigli vest and trouser set was made in Italy of a golden-brown 57% cotton/43% silk jacquard blend with a baroque scenic print. The fitted vest has a shawl collar, two shallow front pockets and a gray viscose/cotton blend back. It's lined in cupro and fastens in the front with four buttons. 

The high-waisted pleated trousers have wide hips with a pocket at each side creating a dramatic hourglass shape. The legs taper at the cuffs. They fasten at the left side with a zipper and button at the waistband. There are a couple small holes in the vest's lining but it's otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
