100% wool, finely woven. Not an itchy wool; this piece is also silk lined, with silk satin lapels. Three metal buttons on one side, accenting the form-fitting waist, with mid-sized shoulder pads.
This is an early 80’s incarnation of Le Smoking, a look Yves St. Laurent made iconic in 1966 and continued to re-invent throughout his career.
