A Valentino skirt suit from 1980. The jacket features a cute grey velvet collar on top of one clean row of grey buttons down the front, with two pockets near the hips. The skirt fits close around the hips, and flares out where the bottom of the jacket hits, so the flared fabric is the only part of the skirt seen when this is worn as a set. The material is a soft, finely woven wool patterned with grey, cream and red houndstooth.
