This late-1980s Byblos mini cocktail dress was made in Italy of a black 67% cotton/33% rayon velvet and lined in a viscose blend. The sleeveless fitted top has a Basque waist. The pleated tulip skirt parts to reveal a ruffle underlay meant to resemble a petticoat. The dress zips up the back. It's in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
