1970s Puff Shoulder Wool Wrap Cardigan
This 1970s wrap sweater was designed by Bill Gibb, the renowned British designer known for his flattering cuts and fantasy wear. It was made in England of patterned pure wool, with brown cotton trim around the neck. The wool is hand-washable, making it easy to care for and great for travel. It has narrow puff shoulders in the style of 1930s knitwear, which was very trendy in London during the 1970s. The front has no closures but does up with its original sash belt. There was a repair done on the back of the left arm, which blends in with the busy pattern (see the last photo.) It is otherwise in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
