Bill Blass
1973 S/S Runway Mushroom Print Silk Crepe Jacket & Skirt Set
Sold Out
This Bill Blass jacket and skirt set was featured in his 1973 S/S runway show. The person that we sourced it from said that it came from the estate of a former Bill Blass model, who worked closely with Bill Blass himself. Made from silk in a black, brown, beige, and white mushroom op-art print, it features balloon sleeves, a pocket on each side and a 5" slit up each side. The collared jacket does up with six black buttons and is fairly lightweight, allowing it to also be worn as a blouse. The high-waisted skirt has three pleats on the front left side, and does up the left side with a zipper and two hook-and-eyes at the waist. The set has lost its original belt and the zipper is chipped, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear
