Bill Blass
1970s Navy Silk Chiffon Collared Tuxedo Dress
Sold Out
This 1970s Bill Blass tuxedo-style dress was union-made in the U.S.A. of a navy blue silk chiffon. The skirt is lined in chiffon and the bodice is lined in rayon. It features inverted pleats around the hips, creating great movement, a white cotton snap on collar with a navy silk satin bow attached, and snap-on French cuffs. It has a waist stay, and comes with its original navy leather belt. Six buttons do up the front, with a snap at the waist.
It is incredibly well constructed, and in very good condition. There is some wear to the edge of the leather belt and a 5mm x 1mm tear in the silk chiffon on the back (see the last photo). This has been factored into the price.
