Anne Klein
1970s Burgundy Plaid Wool Belted Maxi Skirt
Sold Out
This 1970s Anne Klein high-waisted maxi skirt comes with a matching burgundy vinyl belt with an ornate coat-of-arms metal buckle. The dress version is held in the Goldstein Museum of Design. It's made of a fully-lined red plaid wool, and does up the left side with a hidden zipper and button at the waistband. There's a kangaroo pocket in the front that can't actually hold anything but is meant to keep the wearer's hands warm.
The buckle appears to be original (signed "ACCESSOCRAFT - N.Y.C.") but we believe that the belt itself was replaced (signed "VANITY FAIR - TORONTO.") There's a nick in the wool at the front (visible in the detail shot) but it's otherwise in very good condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
