Anastasia Paris
1970s Red Floral and Paisley Cotton Poet Sleeve Dress
Sold Out
This beautiful 1970s 100% cotton red dress is by Anastasia Paris, a seemingly-forgotten designer who can be regularly spotted in French high fashion magazines from the late 1970s. The Eastern European-influenced style features large poet sleeves and a corduroy bodice that does up with 6 buttons. The sleeves and skirt are a very soft and thin flannel material with a floral and paisley pattern, with pleating at the waistband to give the skirt volume. There is a button on each cuff and pocket on each side of the skirt. This dress does have a few small flaws: there are some small black marks on the bottom back of the bodice, and one tiny one on the bottom front, all of which could be easily hidden by adding a belt to the dress. There is also a 2mm x 3mm hole on the left shoulder and one that is 2mm x 3mm further down. The price has been greatly reduced due to these imperfections. Made in France, it is clean and ready to wear.
