Jean Airoldi Couturier
1995 Documented Baby Novelty Print Silk Chiffon Blouse
Sold Out
This playful blouse is by award-winning Canadian designer, Jean Airoldi. It was made in 1995 from sheer cream silk chiffon with a novelty print of the designer's baby face throughout. It has a loose shape, balloon sleeves, an exaggerated dagger collar, and 8.5" slits up each side. It's worn by slipping overhead and fastens with one button at the neck. There is some light yellowing around the cuffs and a few minor pulls in the chiffon. The flaws are discreet enough that we would still consider it to be in excellent condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
The second photo is of Patricia Paquin wearing the blouse with Jean Airoldi in a clip from Livre, April 1995. Photographed by Pierre McCann.
