Jean Paul Gaultier
1987 Documented Men's Lace Raven Tassel Wool Jacket
Sold Out
This 1987 Jean Paul Gaultier Homme piece plays with many elements; grey pinstripes in a matador-influenced design, a trim lined with button holes on a piece with no buttons, black fishnet lace over the sleeves with fine tassels, and cut out lace ravens on the front, all with subtle lace speech bubbles saying “JPG”.... This is a statement museum-quality piece if I have ever seen one. It’s made with very, very finely woven wool, it’s fully lined on the inside, and features shoulder pads. It’s an open front with a small black ribbon to tie only at the bottom.
