This brown Yves Saint Laurent jacket is from the 1982 F/W collection of the fashion house’s iconic Rive Gauche line. The purple version was photographed by Helmut Newton on Iman for Vogue Uk’s September 1982 issue, as well as being featured in their runway show. It has black trim and no closures, with 10 decorative buttons on the front, and 3 buttons on each cuff. Made in France, it is in very good condition, with only a 0.5cm x 0.5cm moth nibble on the back (see last photo) and light general wear to the wool. It has been professionally dry cleaned, and is ready to wear.
