A pure wool faux wrap Sonia Rykiel sweater dating from the late 1970’s/early 1980’s, with gradient yellow and black stripes; a colour scheme that is visibly characteristic of Rykiel’s designs during this period. The stripes are smaller and closer together near the shoulders, and get progressively wider down towards the waist. The black-hemmed deep v wrap neckline is punctuated by a black bow at the chest, and continues out from the bottom as a simple decorative wool strip coming out from a small black button at the waist. With low armpits creating dolman sleeves. The loose fit is cinched by a tighter knit around the bottom and sleeve cuffs.
