This incredible André Laug couture gown was sold at Holt Renfrew in the 1970s. It was made in Italy from a black silk chiffon with silver metallic vertical stripes throughout. The body is fully lined in chiffon. It has full-length sleeves that are unlined and do up at the cuffs with three snaps. The skirt has inverted pleats, creating an alluring movement as the wearer walks. The dress zips up the back with a metal zipper. It is in excellent condition, with just two small holes near the hem that are hidden by a pleat. Professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
