A late 1970’s Guy Laroche 2 piece ensemble, clearly anticipating 1980’s with the uneven red and white triangle pattern. The skirt is in a high waisted faux wrap style, the waist adorned with an attached matching tie, with elastic in the back of the waist, adding a level of comfort. There are two subtle pockets on each side, and a partial slit on one side. The crew neck blouse is hemmed all around with an inch of white, except at the bottom hem. The puffy ½ length sleeves end with small white cuffs and one small white shell button on each side. The shell buttons close up the length of the front as well. Unlined, this piece is made of pure, finely textured silk.
