This rare treasure is from the legendary British Boutique label Miss Mouse. Founded in 1970 by a 23-year-old Rae Spencer-Cullen, Miss Mouse was considered to be in the forefront of the 'avant garde' London fashion scene alongside Vivienne Westwood. Spencer-Cullen was declared by Harper's Bazaar one of the "leading style innovators" of her day and was inspired by 50's kitsch. This particular piece features illustrations of famous Marilyn Monroe photographs, and was shown at the recent Pop! Exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum.
