1970s Victorian Revival Clasping Hands Leather Belt

This 1970s unsigned Victorian Revival belt is 1 5/8" wide gray leather with a clasping hands cast metal buckle. Hands were a common motif in the Victorian era, from art to jewellery to trinkets. Each hand measures 5.25" x 2.5". The belt is not adjustable and currently fits a 35" waist (it was pinned on our mannequin). It would be easy to replace the leather or add snaps to make it smaller. There is significant patina on the metal but the leather is in very good condition. Please carefully review the photos; we've adjusted the price accordingly.
