Georges Rech
1970s Double Breasted Beige Wool Trench Coat
Sold Out
This double-breasted beige trench coat is from Georges Rech, a pioneer of Parisian women’s ready-to-wear. Dating to the late-1970s/early-1980s, it’s from Rech’s Synonym line and made in France from 100% wool. It is fully lined and includes the original belt, with drop shoulders and large unique pockets that were sewn on the outside. Meant to have an oversized look with a belt to cinch the waist, it would best fit a size XS-S, though it is marked as a vintage size 40. It is in very good condition; there is one nick in the wool on the back left shoulder (see photo) and one in the bottom back hem that measures 1mm x 2mm. These imperfections have been factored into the price. It has been freshly dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
