Geoffrey Beene
1960s Mod Green & White Collared Dress
This super mod 1960s Geoffrey Beene dress is a museum-worthy piece from his “Beene Bazaar” label. It is a high-quality one piece, though it is designed to resemble a green dress over a white collared shirt. Included is a detachable belt with a square gold-tone metal buckle. It zips up the back, with cuffs that do up with three buttons. There is not fabric content tag, but it feels to be a viscose jersey, and the body of the dress is lined. It was originally sold at Davidson’s Boutique in Indianapolis.
Overall, it's in very good condition, but there are some minor issues noticeable only under close inspection. There's some discreet yellowing around the neckline, a small brown spot on the right cuff and a mark on the back. Please review the photos. It has been professionally dry-cleaned, and is ready to be worn or displayed.
