Louis Féraud
1960s Egyptian Revival Gold Metallic & Black Raw Silk Gown
This rare piece from high-end French designer Louis Féraud dates to the mid 1960’s, making it the earliest Féraud item we’ve discovered! The black evening gown, made from raw silk and trimmed in gold metallic, hints at an Ancient Egyptian influence. It does up on the left side with a metal zipper, and is pleated at the back, adding volume to the skirt. The straps sit on the edge of the shoulders, while a sexy cut-out flaunts the lower back of the wearer, highlighted by bow and tassel detailing. It is in excellent condition, with a lined top and unlined skirt. Professionally dry cleaned and ready to wear.
