1950s Metallic Embroidered Pink Organza Gown

A very darling pink organza strapless floral evening gown by English designer Frank Usher. Dating from the 1950’s, this is a high quality piece made with a built in boned corset beneath a ruched bodice. The pink organza overlay is decorated with a whimsical floral embroidered pattern, of white and real metallic thread, giving the design a lovely texture. The organza layer is sewn, ruched, on the inside of the hem at the top of the bust and folds around the top, giving the design another touch of whimsy. With a back metal zipper enclosure. The classic concept and well-executed organza embroidery make this a timeless piece of high quality evening wear.

Measurements:

Bust - 30" laying flat. There is a couple inches of extra room in the bust, due to the built in cups. My mannequin has a 34" bust and I was just able to squeeze it on.
