1950s Ethereal Black Net Lace & Velvet Bow Peignoir

This 1950s Schiaparelli glamorous peignoir was crafted from an extremely delicate black net lace. The fabric hangs longer in the front and back than on the sides, and gathers in a way that creates elegant movement. It does up the front with one button and a velvet ribbon that can be tied into a bow, and has additional velvet ribbons on each sleeve and on the back. There was a small repair done to the lace near the hem and a worn area on the nylon trim down the front opening (see the last photo), but overall it's in very good condition considering its age and material. It is clean and ready to wear.
