A stunning old Hollywood style black satin halter gown dating from the 1940’s. The fabric gathers around the oval shaped black sequin embellishment, creating a very flattering fit at the waist. The deep v halter neckline is made with a generous amount of fabric; if desired, it could easily be pinned to open more at the front, to create a revealing plunge neck. Floor length, with a back metal zipper enclosure. It is rare to find a 1940’s gown that is both so timeless and in such good condition. Overall, quite an elegant bombshell look.
