1940s Gold Lamé & Ivory Silk Chiffon Gown

This unlabeled 1940s short sleeve gown is sheer ivory silk chiffon with strips of gold lamé made from real metallic thread. It has a V-neckline and ruching around the waist, which creates a flattering silhouette. A metal zipper fastens up the left side.
We have decided not to get this dress cleaned due to the delicate nature of the fabric. There are a few discreet marks, but it otherwise appears clean and without any odors. It is in excellent condition for a piece of this age and could easily be worn as-is.
