1920s Floral Embroidered Periwinkle Silk Fringe Piano Shawl Duster

This 1920s duster robe is made with the fabric from a piano shawl, a periwinkle silk with a hand-embroidered floral design; this is an original piece and wasn't up-cycled in a later decade. It has a long fringe trim and capelet overlay in the back. There are no closures; it has been styled on the mannequin with our 1950s Miriam Haskell pin, which is not included but available for purchase.
Overall, it's in very good condition for it's age but has flaws to note: the silk trimming on the interior has shattered from age, there is some discoloration, some loose threads and minor pulls in the silk. It appears that there was originally fringe around the cuffs that has been cut off. Please carefully review the photos. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
