1920s 1930s Capelet Black Silk Satin Bias Evening Gown

This black silk satin evening gown dates from the late 1920s to the early 1930s. It features sexy cut-out shoulders with a built-in capelet with a cream underside and ruching at the neckline. It slips over the head and has a bias cut with an asymmetrical hem. There are a few very minor imperfections on the silk, inconspicuous discolouration under the arms, and stains on the underside of the capelet that are completely invisible during wear. Please zoom in on the last three photos for a better understanding. Overall, it’s in excellent condition for its age and presents beautifully. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
