This 1976-77 F/W Ted Lapidus collared dress was made in France of cream wool with red, cream, and brown contrast stitching. The dress was seen in multiple different pattern and colorways that season. We've included a photo of Ted Lapidus in his boutique with several models, one of whom is wearing a solid cream version of the dress. It has a pleated skirt, pintuck bodice, and balloon sleeves that fasten at the cuffs with two of Ted Lapidus' signature anchor buttons. The skirt is lined. The dress zips up the front, and comes with the original adjustable belt. There is a very discreet yellow mark on the left side of the bust and some chipping to the zipper, but otherwise, it is in very good condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
