2000 S/S Mix Print Silk Taffeta Evening Gown Set

This 2000 S/S Christian Lacroix evening gown set was made in France and originally sold at Holt Renfrew. It consists of a bustier, skirt, and shawl, all made from silk taffeta. The bustier and the skirt were featured separately on that season's runway. 

The black bustier has multicolor stripes, an interior waist stay, boning, and a zipper fastening the back. The floor length skirt is lime green with an orange, yellow, blue, and black abstract print, plus a mix print train at the back. The waistband sits higher on the front right side, giving it an avant garde look. It's lined in lime green silk organza and zips up the back. The shawl measures 72" x 23.5" and is reversible, with the lime green taffeta on one side and the striped taffeta on the other.

The skirt and the bustier have been altered to a larger size. Please pay close attention to the measurements. It's otherwise in excellent condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
