This 1977 S/S Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche corset top is an iconic and well-documented piece, used in that season's ad campaign and featured on that season's runway in multiple variations. It was made in France of khaki cotton that laces up the front with a long rope tassel. Features include braided trim, a peplum waist, and large puff sleeves with elastic cuffs.
Overall, it's in very good condition, with a couple minor imperfections to note: there's some wear around the top right grommet, and the left armpit has been reinforced with a patch, which is completely invisible from the exterior. It is clean and ready to wear.
