This 1998 F/W Paul Smith vest was made in India of dark red cotton velvet with floral embroidery. A singing bird sitting on a branch is hand-embroidered. Similar embroidered vests and items with a bird design were featured on that season's runway. It's lined in ecru cotton, with two front pockets and two chest pockets. The burgundy cotton back has a cinch. The waistcoat fastens with six buttons in the front. It's in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
