This 1989-90 F/W Chanel Boutique jacket is very well-documented. Not only was it featured on the season's runway in various colorways, the yellow version was used in the ad campaign and Anna Wintour was photographed in the red.
This one was made in France of turquoise wool tweed with a black grosgrain ribbon trim. It fastens with "CC" gold-tone buttons, each signed "CHANEL" on the back, with four additional buttons on each cuff. The interior has a silk lining with the classic "CC" logo print, and their signature gold metal chain around the inside hemline. It has a cinched waist and four front pockets. The jacket is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
