An indigo ultra mini velvet dress dating from the 1990’s, designed by David Fielden, a London-based designer known particularly for his innovative evening wear, influenced by his experiences as a theatre designer, as well as a dancer and choreographer. The indigo velvet fabric is iridescent, shifting from purple to green at different angles. Intricately embellished with gold metallic patches, reminiscent of Lacroix couture of the era, with hundreds of small beads embellishing the low v neckline. The gold embellishments are accented with embroidery and rhinestones in red, yellow, blue, green, pink and orange, with smaller silver rhinestones at the neckline as well. Between the embellishments at the hips are two strands of small gold bells that add a slight jingle with movement; with bells sewn in on both shoulders as well. With a side zipper enclosure.
