1980s Black Moire Taffeta Party Dress

This Andrea Odicini party dress was originally sold at Holt Renfrew's luxury department H.R.'s Boutique in the late 1970s or early 1980s. It was made in Italy of a black moire silk taffeta with a silk chiffon lining. The fabric is very heavy, weighing close to 1.2 kg. Its features include a ruched neckline, short puffy sleeves, and a drop waist with two-tiered ruffle skirt. It does up the left side with a hidden metal zipper. It's in excellent condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
