Pierre Cardin
1970s Gray Herringbone Wool Capelet Three-Piece Set
$425.00
This 1970s Pierre Cardin three-piece set consists of a gray herringbone wool capelet, pants, and skirt, all lined in acetate. The line was produced for the North American market.
The collared short-sleeve capelet jacket has a faux drawstring waist, two front pockets, and five marbled "P" logo buttons fastening the front. The pants are high-waisted, straight-legged and pleated, with a watch pocket and an additional pocket at each side. They fasten with a zipper fly and a logo button at the waistband. The A-line skirt has three knife pleats on the front right side and a pocket at the back. It fastens with a zipper up the left side and a button at the waistband.
The skirt has been let out by the original owner and it's possible that the button at the waistband has been replaced. The set is otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
