This 1975-76 F/W Oscar de la Renta toga-style dress is luxury quality, made from an unlined black jersey with an impressive weight to it. The fabric composition isn't listed, but it feels like a high-quality synthetic. The fabric drapes beautifully down the front, ruching at the left shoulder and cascading down the left arm. It can also be styled with the draping wrapped around the shoulders, as seen on that season's runway. It zips up the left side with a Talon zipper and fastens with two hook-and-eyes on the left shoulder. There are a couple of small nicks in the fabric near the zipper, which are hidden by the draping. It's otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
