1970s Color Block Suede Snake Belt Jacket & Skirt Set

This 1970s Mario Valentino jacket and skirt set was made in Italy. The fitted cropped jacket is color-blocked burnt orange and olive green suede, with a large rounded collar and a pocket on the right side. It fastens with six buttons in the front and a button on each cuff. The high-waisted flared skirt is olive green suede that does up the left side with a zipper and snap at the waist. It has a large pocket on the front right hip with a burnt orange and green leather geometric appliqué. Both pieces are lined in "MARIO VALENTINO"-signed rayon. The set comes with the original belt that's olive green suede with burnt orange piping. It has a rectangular buckle that has a gold-tone metal snake with "MV" hidden in it. There's a little wear to the edges of the belt but the set is otherwise in very good condition.
