1930s Art Deco Floral Beaded Silk Velvet Capelet

This early-1930s black silk velvet capelet is by Machinka (a court dressmaker) at 36 Dover St. in London. It's embellished with beige and black bugle beads in an Art Deco floral design. The capelet has no fasteners, measuring 21.5" long at its longest in the back. There are one or two missing beads and some wear to the label but the capelet remains in excellent condition, especially considering its age.
