This late-1970s/early-1980s Lancetti Alta Moda Pronta evening set was made in Italy of silk taffeta. The top is dark green, with short puff sleeves, pleating at the shoulders, and a large silk flower sewn to the bust. It has a shawl collar that ties at the front, and a metal zipper fastening the left side. The pleated floor-length ball skirt is dark green and iridescent sage stripes. It has a silk taffeta lining with a pleated ruffle trim that pokes out beneath the hemline, resembling a petticoat. A metal zipper and two hook-and-eyes fasten the skirt at the back waistband
The skirt is in excellent condition but the top is being sold as-is, as the silk in the underarms has shattered. It is discreet when worn, but it will likely continue to shatter with wear. We have priced the set as if it were just the skirt alone, with the top included as a bonus. Both pieces have been professionally dry-cleaned. Please note that only the top has the Lancetti label.
