2011 S/S Taupe Utility Button-Up Maxi Dress

This 2011 S/S Jean-Paul Gaultier collared utility maxi dress was made in Italy of unlined taupe polyester that looks and feels extremely similar to raw silk. Many versions of the dress were featured on that season's runway, including as a jumpsuit and a top. The elbow-length wide sleeves have armbands that can be used to roll up and secure the sleeves, as seen on the runway. The dress has four buttoned flap pockets in the front, ten shell buttons up the front, and comes with the original 2" wide adjustable belt.

It's in very good condition with some minor flaws to note: the belt has some discoloration, likely from the glue, the neck and waist buttons have been replaced with slightly lighter matching shell buttons, and there is a discreet darkened spot on the right side of the bust. We've adjusted the price accordingly. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
