This 1990 F/W Jean-Louis Scherrer Boutique trench coat and skirt set was made in France and originally purchased at Lily Simon. The fabric is listed as being wool but it feels more like a synthetic fabric (possibly silk blend) that was designed to be water repellent.
The trench coat fastens in the front with five buttons, with an additional decorative button on each cuff. It comes with a matching 60.5" x 2.25" tie belt. The high-waisted pencil skirt is lined with a zipper fastening the back.
Overall, it's in very good condition. The coat has lost its label, and both pieces appear to have had some sort of alteration. We have adjusted the price accordingly. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
