We believe that this Jean Dessès "New Look" double-breasted jacket dates to between 1949-1951. It is completely hand-sewn true haute couture, made from navy blue and black wool tweed with a black raw silk lining. Features include a large pointed collar, interior waist stay and six decorative buttons on each cuff. The buttons in the front are decorative, but they beautifully accentuate the hourglass silhouette. There is some wear to the lining around the waist stay but it's otherwise in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
