This 1993-94 F/W Escada by Margaretha Ley cavalry-style blazer was made in Slovenia of red wool gabardine with black cotton velvet trim. It was featured on the cover of that season's catalog, and photographed by Jonathon Lennard for the November 1993 issue of L'Officiel Paris. It has a rayon lining, inverted box pleats at the back, and two scalloped flap pockets that are still sewn shut. The jacket does up the front with four buttons. It's in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
