Chanel

1979-80 F/W Gold Silk Lamé Braided Trim Jacket

$1,550.00

This 1979-80 F/W Chanel by Philippe Guibourgé jacket was made in France of gold silk lamé, with a gold and black braided trim and a quilted black satin lining. It was featured on that season's runway and Kim Alexis wore it on the October 1979 cover of Vogue US. It has a stand-up collar, two front pockets and two "CC" signed buttons on each cuff. It fastens with four lion's head buttons.

The CC buttons are authentic Chanel but not original to this jacket. We're including four extra CC buttons and one extra lion's head button. There's some minor wear to the braided trim and a pull on the back of the left shoulder. It's been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
