1984-85 F/W Alpaca & Wool Shawl Collar Coat

This 1984-85 F/W Chantal Thomass oversized lightweight coat was made in France of a camel 50% alpaca/50% wool blend. Versions were featured on that season's runway and in the November 1984 issue of Elle France. It has wide sleeves, an inverted pleat up the back, a breast pocket and two front pockets. It fastens with snaps at the waist. There were repairs made to the lining and there's some light wear to the edges of the wool, but it's otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
