This 1976-77 F/W Ted Lapidus "Exclusivite Boutique" collared dress was made in France of 50% cashmere/40% lamb wool/10% nylon. The dress was seen in multiple different pattern and colorways that season. We've included a photo of Ted Lapidus in his boutique with models, one of whom is wearing a solid cream version of the dress.
Its features include a pintuck bodice, an inverted pleat in the front and back of the skirt, and balloon sleeves that fasten at the cuffs with two buttons with Lapidus's signature anchor on them. The skirt is lined and the top unlined. The dress zips up the front and comes with the original adjustable belt. There is one small area on the front of the skirt where the wool is slightly worn, but it is otherwise in very good condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
